REVIEW

Brewed

  • Once brewed this tea is a light green with a hint of yellow.

Scent

  • This tea has an earthy scent once brewed and a somewhat mossy tree bark earthy scent..

Flavor

  • Smooth and very subtle tea slightly floral with an every so slight bitter aftertaste. Mild bold body.

Sentiments

  • I love their website, and I love the fact that this tea is the real deal. It’s freshly harvested  and what you are getting is genuine tea grown in Xihu(西湖), Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China. These details are important as they reflect the tea itself and what you will be tasting and smelling as it brews. Enjoy this tea in it’s fullness. This is a beautiful tea and has a first scent of a very green scent and somewhat of a fall leaf. You know when you start to rake those fall leaves. The one thing I enjoy about these teas are that they are real, nothing added and anything you smell or taste comes from the location, cultivation and the actual leaf itself.

INGREDIENTS

  • Flattened tea leaves, with one bud and one or two leaves
  • A premium grade, classic green tea, is renowned as China’s best tea
