REVIEW

Brewed

  • If you just go off of the brewed tea you will wonder what is coming next.  The liquor is a lovely shade of brown and red combined and depending on how the light hits the cup will depend on what hue you will see.

Scent

  • The raspberry scent will take over here.  The other spices are there as they seem to be fighting for the attention of your sense.  It has a sort of chai feel to it.

Flavor

  • Almost 100% decafinnated I had to decide what category to place it in.  I don’t sweeten the teas I review but this tea I could only imagine a slight drop of honey to really bring out the cinnamon and clove and to sweeten up the raspberry just a bit.

Sentiments

  • As the description says this tea does have a raspberry essence with pungent spices. At times it did remind me of a pumpkin pie, minus the raspberry. I actually loved the flavor of this tea and did not want to stop testing it. The way it sort of melted into your taste buds and the scent rose up into your nostrils was very pleasant. I was also very surprised this was a decaffeinated tea.  The tea was nice hot and I could imagine it sweetened just a tad to really bring out the richness of the tea. I could not wait to try this tea iced and I was as pleased as I thought I would be. It’s a great tea, hot or iced.
