Here is what I think

I was visiting Branson Missouri a few weeks ago and stumbled across this very classy store of herbs, and teas. I wanted to take a moment and check the store out and was so glad I did. Beyond the teas and some very interesting herbs as well as everyday spices, I found these flavored sugars, and I picked one up. I liked the idea of the coconut sugar because it was natural coconut added and so I had time to play with it with a few teas I was reviewing this week.

The first tea I tried it in was an Earl Grey, the Earl Grey in itself was slightly bitter and by adding the sugar it took the edge off that bitterness, it also added just a tad bit of a vanilla flavor to the tea.

The second tea I tried it in was the Mint Chilla Chai Nilla from the same store, the sugar seemed to mellow out the licorice flavor and made the tea sweeter then the mint did in the beginning.

These sugars are a lot of fun and you can add them to all of your drinks and even foods. It would be a lot of fun to purchase a few of these and add them to your breakfast cereals, oatmeal, tea and how about that coffee?

I encourage you to try a few of these, it’s a lot of fun to see the flavor change just by adding a different sugar to it and see (and taste) the fun.

Let me know what you experiment with, there are a lot of choices, I think I picked a pretty mild and safe choice. What’s your pick?
