Some Teas From ToDo Teas (single origin Taiwan Teas)

Company Name: TODO TEA

**Direct link to main tea site is located below the Company Details below tea reviews!**

TEA SELECTION: TAIWAN BLACK OOLONG

Interesting Highlights:

Over and over again, it’s an honor to taste a single origin tea and taste the nature of the teas surroundings. My favorite pick is this tea out of all five.

Ingredients:

Single Origin Taiwan Tea

Review:

This oolong tea is earthy and the tea itself is small and tingly wound rolls, it’s fresh with a sweet, mellow full flavor and reminded me of a Breakfast tea. The brew itself is an amber shade and has no aftertaste or bitterness. Lovely tea that I even enjoyed iced.

Cost: $15.00 / 2 ounces
Price may vary according to the amount purchased.

TEA SELECTION: TAIWAN ORIENTAL BEAUTY OOLONG

Interesting Highlights:

Very large rolled tea with a unique honey sweet flavor. My second pick as a favorite from this group of reviews.

Ingredients:

Single origin oolong tea.

Review:

Love the ways these teas are rolled, this is a larger rolled tea with a bark scent and stronger then the Black Oolong above with a medium yellow brew. This tea is sweet and earthy with a somewhat fruity following.

Cost: $37.00 / 2 ounces
Price may vary according to the amount purchased.

Small rolled tea with a gassy and floral flavor, the light yellow brew has no aftertaste or bitterness. A very mellow earthy, floral relaxing tea.

TEA SELECTION: SHAN LIN XI (HIGH MOUNTAIN OOLONG)

Interesting Highlights:

The way this tea is rolled reminds me of a Pearl wrapped tea.

Ingredients:

Single origin Taiwan Oolong Tea

Review:

This tea is a sweeter tea with a Honey and Floral flavor. More bitter then the other teas I reviewed and the light amber brew is a delight. There is a slight pea aftertaste that is incredibly interesting.

Cost: $23.00 / 2 ounces
Price may vary according to the amount purchased.

TEA SELECTION: TAIWAN RED JADE BLACK TEA

Interesting Highlights:

A burnt somewhat tobacco scent.

Ingredients:

Single Origin Taiwan Black Tea

Review:

There is a slight bitterness with this medium bodied tea, a mild and somewhat smokey after flavor. The review online says there is a cinnamon and peppermint flavor and I did not get that at all.

Cost: $17.00 / 2 ounces
Price may vary according to the amount purchased.

SPECIAL NOTE: I keep saying it, no matter what tea you are trying if it’s a single origin, there are times you can taste the earth, the surrounding plants, it’s an incredible thing and must be experienced as a tea drinker.

Company highlights, notes and more:

ToDoTea is the portmanteau of Tony and Doris, the Heart and Soul of the family operation, where Doris brings her life-long expertise in Taiwan teas, and Tony helps out with whatever to make her look good.

Everything started nearly 100 years ago, in 1928, when Doris’ great grandfather, Master Lee, was recognized as one of the top Oolong tea experts in Nantou, Taiwan.
It has been a family business ever since.

Read about Doris and Tony’s personal stories on their website below! It’s interesting to note that each of them had a unique experience with tea. I enjoyed reading their stories and you will as well.
