Review:

There’s a lot going on in this tea and you’d not know it when it literally melts in your mouth like dark chocolate.  It’s a rich tea, full bodied and the taste is slightly bitter like that of rich dark chocolate.  There’s a slight tinge of ginger in the finish of this tea with a remarkable spicy chocolate taste.

Review:

This tea is refreshing with a slight bitterness but a smooth finish, the lemongrass is prominent in the mix as well as the cinnamon.  You get a great balance of all these ingredients in one amazing tea.  This tea would be great iced as well.

Review:

This is the real 50/50 mix with it’s slightly sweet, slightly tart flavor, it’s a fun tea to experience as it is smooth and gently fills your mouth and senses with both sweetness and tartness.  You could add a sweetener to it but honestly I like the experience this tea allows you to feel.  I also enjoyed the deep red liquor this tea produces.

TEA SELECTION: CARAMEL MAPLE WALNUT

Interesting Highlights:

Nutty Sweet and Warm

organic green tea, pineapple, coconut, walnuts, almonds, maple brittle, flavors, vanilla, sea salt, citric acid.

Review:

Ahhh that caramel scent when you open the bag, it’s divine.  The flavor is sweet and although it’s a green tea the added ingredients really take over this brew.  For me this is a cuddle up on the coach with a good book tea, it’s warm and inviting.  I’m not ready for cuddle up tea but when I am this tea will be a winner.

TEA SELECTION: PUMPKIN CARAMEL AND CINNAMON

Interesting Highlights:

The different pictures really bring out the different visuals of the tea, the different lighting as well as backgrounds let you see what the teas are made of.

Ingredients:

rooibos, honeybush, cinnamon, buckwheat, toasted rice, ginger, pumpkin, caramel, vanilla, flavors, toffee, nutmeg, mace, pumpkin seeds, sea salt, stevia, rice krispes, citric acid.

Review:

The review for this tea says it’s like a “slice of pie”  I’m not sure i’d give it that, it’s got a nice fall(ish) flavor but for me it does not taste like a slice of pie, it however does taste like a nice fall scent of a sweet cinnamon with a slightly earthy flavor.  I love that this tea contains pumpkin seeds, they are so good for you.  Great combination.

Cost: $7.99 / Box of Tea bags

Price may vary according to the amount purchased.

SPECIAL NOTE:

While I do love these teas and Tea Guys produce a great variety of teas I’d love to see the teas contain less citric and malic acids.  I’ve never been a fan of those ingredients or the use of “flavorings” in anything really there is just too wide of a margin that is allowed by the FDA with that ingredient.
