What Tealyra says about this tea:

Our Sugar Detox blend is absolutely organic without any added flavoring, colors or preservatives! Simply pure hibiscus, peppermint, licorice, lavender and chamomile come together to create a unique and healthy fusion designed to help you overcome sugar cravings and attain better health!

Hibiscus tea is super hydrating and makes an excellent alternative to sports drinks, which are usually full of unhealthy chemicals, salt and sugar. Licorice is a natural anti-inflammatory, a gentle laxative, it helps treat mild depression and aids in numerous PMS issues such as bloat, tension and stress! Chamomile, lavender and peppermint have many health benefits including stress-relief, digestive aid and emotional balance.

Sugar Detox is simple, yet who knew such a simple blend could be so flavorful? Once steeped, the aroma is floral- with calming lavender and chamomile taking center stage; at first sip the fullness of the blend will surprise you- it is herbal, sweet, cooling and ultra-satisfying!

Here is what I think

Absolute mint on first scent. Love the nice mix and slices of fruit pieces. It’s a fine mix that may slip through a strainer (I suggest a tea bag).

What I liked

This tea is a deep red liquor and reminds me of wine. It’s tart but sweet mostly because of the licorice and mint. It’s a really different blend of fruits/mint and licorice.

What I did not like

A great tea that will assist you in giving up that sugar habit by replacing the tea for the sweet cravings. You do have to exhibit a bit of will power as well but once your mind is convinced the rest of your body will fall into place!

Until next sip pinkies up and face the wind! You got this!

P.S. I’ve included an average brewing instruction chart below to help you brew your teas.

These are common instructions for brewing teas, however if the company suggests other brewing I will include it in the review section.

Time and Temperature Guide:

** As always stated by My Tea Vault, we think you should enjoy tea the way you like it, I like mine very strong with no sweetener, these are just guidelines and I suggest you use the guideline then adjust for your own tastes.
