I learned about Tealightful at the Midwest Tea Festival this year and was so glad she agreed to my sampling a few of her teas to tell you about them. I was thrilled to receive a booklet, informational material and best of all a very nice stack of recipes (I’ll share a few with you in weeks to come). What Tealightful seems to be is a network marketing company that sells its products through those like Jacqueline who sign up to become a member. This does not take away from the company or the teas in the least and it an interesting concept within our tea community. There are a ton of teas available from this company and it is most definitely worth a look, especially if you are looking for a nice combination to stir up your collection.

The only issue I have with the company is a lack of ingredient listings on their site and in their booklet, listing “natural ingredients” when I’d like to know what those ingredients are. I am very sure however if you desired a full disclosure of ingredients that could be provided by just asking. I do believe however the packaging contains the information that would be needed for ingredients. The one super cool thing is they have over 93 teas on their site that range from single origin to herbal to dessert and everything in between.

These are common instructions for brewing teas, however if the company suggests other brewing I will include it in the review section.

All Natural Ingredients

What the site has to say about it’s product: This all natural mix is excellent served as a dip with fresh fruit or layered into a graham cracker crust with fresh peaches. Enjoy it as a topping for our Pralines & Cream scones.

COSTS: $9.75 / 2 packages

Price may vary according to the amount purchased.

Brewed: Mid Amber liquor

Scent: Lovely peach scent, reminds me of peach harvest time.

Flavor: Definitely a peach flavor with a slight bitter edge, mild peach flavor with a black tea flavor in the background.

Sentiments: This tea has a nice flow to it, and a smooth flavor with a slight bitterness. It’s a refreshing peach scent and flavor that is reminiscent of a peach field being harvested.

My Tea Vault score values of 1-10 (10 being the best): “7”.

Till next sip…
