The best tea in the world does not have to be the most expensive tea.
Today I want to share with you the best teas in the world. The best tea in the world are the teas you choose, the one you like in your cup. Prepared the way you like it done. That is truly the best tea in the world. Your world.
My love for certain teas does change. There are a few that have always been a go-to. The ones that I keep ordering month after month, year after year.
Many will tell you their favorite teas according to the affiliate links. While I do use affiliate links I am proud to support the companies I share with you. The following have been steady favorites of mine. I hope you give them a try!
These are my best teas in the world!
Teakruthi
December 14th, 2016 was my first order with Teakruthi. That is when I met Ceylon Ivory and Ceylon Gold. Both are a favorite yet nothing can surpass my love of Blissful Harmony.
Blissful Harmony was introduced to me in 2017 and is in every order I make. It’s got the best of both worlds. A black and a white tea combined together in one tea. This tea just does it for me. The taste is malty and smooth.
Teakruthi teas are all prepared in small batches. Some of the freshest consistently that I know.
Teatopia STL
I have supported Teatopia since its beginning. From a very small storefront to move across the street to a larger space. Teatopia is more than just a tea store. Teatopia is a community. Located on eclectic Cherokee Street in Saint Louis.
While I have purchased every tea that Teatopia offers and I have several favorites
Yellow Mudan – a rare tea with a nutty and sweet flavor that is medium-bodied and smooth.
High Mountain oolong – when I can find this much sought after oolong, I purchase it.
Ginger (tisane) – this ginger root is strong and so enjoyable. I like to have this around for the cold season. It really opens up the nasal cavity and is soothing for the stomach.
Another favorite is the smoothies that are made with tea. My favorite would be the Strawberry Colada made with their coconut creme tea.
Japanese Green Tea Co
If you want to know more about Japanese green tea then I suggest you start here with Japanese green tea co. Besides having a beautiful array of teas from Japan. The website is full of information about Japan, its people, and its teas.
Japanese Green Tea Company offers more than “just tea”. There are books, teaware, and gift sets.
My favorite tea from here is: Hojicha followed by Genmai-cha.
Hojicha – is more of a roasted green tea. Brown in color and full of catechins. There is a lower caffeine content than green tea. I like this tea because it’s got a less green or grassy flavor and is more roasted. Yet, retaining the green tea goodness!
Genmaicha is a favorite tea period. The popcorn tea. While it contains brown rice and no popcorn, the flavor will remind you of popcorn. It’s a fun tea.
Adagio
I don’t have a particular favorite tea from Adagio. There is a lot to choose from. Adagio was the first company I reviewed many years ago. I had to call the company in order to make sure I pronounced it correctly.
One of the things I liked the best about adagio is there are so many ways to receive samples of the teas. They also offer many ways to receive discounts. Their rewards program is well… rewarding!
You will find an array of teas from a single leaf, infusions, or just herbal. They also offer fun holiday-themed teas that come in these cute tins. I love to reuse the teas for various things, even other teas. They make it easy to carry small amounts of tea with you while you travel.
Adagio also offers teaware, iced teas, and gifts. There are also fun clubs you can join and receive an amount of tea a month and join others to discuss the teas together. It’s a lot to take in but you have time, go check out what Adagio has to offer, tell them Lisa from My Tea Vault sent you!
Summary
There is no real summary of the best teas. My list can go on and on and if you follow me you will see what I mean. So many teas and I rarely have a bad word to say about them. But if I do, you know to stay away from that. :-).
Enjoy my list of the best teas in (my) the world. When you try them let me know what you think.
