REVIEW
Brewed
- Light brown brew, love the way these leaves are so find and curly.
Scent
- Roasted, floral and sweet melony scent
Flavor
- Surprisingly this tea is stronger, yet smooth with a woodsy floral roasted and smooth, soft.
Sentiments
- This tea is beautiful. I could end my review right there. The way it looks so delicate and curled and it looks roasted, once the water is added and the leaves unfold it’s true nature is shown. What the tea looks like is not what it tastes like, it’s a true royal tea in looks and flavor. I feel honored to have tried it.

What Golden Moon Tea Say About Their Tea
This rare beauty is a truly unique treasure, a must try for any tea enthusiast! Don’t be mistaken by the dark color of the leaves; this is yellow tea! True yellow tea; which is only grown in China, is prepared in a similar way to green tea, yet the leaves are left damp to slightly oxidize the tea, turning the leaves and the finished brew a golden yellow hue. Our “Huang Cha” yellow tea is wonderfully floral- you’ll notice the chrysanthemum scent right when you open the bag, and almost a faint hint of jasmine. Its flavor profile is similar to an oolong, with a smooth, rich, buttery mouthfeel.
