This is a new era in our tea industry, When talking with Kei of Japanese Green Tea I referred to this as instant tea (which it is instant) however the two teas below are powdered, there IS a difference. These teas are created from the leaves of the tea and processed in a way as to not loose any of the great quality.

From what I am reading the young people were moving away from traditional tea and looking for a way to still enjoy the drink of their ancestors but to make it more modern and the following drinks are what they came up with.

I am thrilled to be able to review then and tell you about them, it’s exciting to be a part of the new era of powdered tea.

This tea has a vegetal scent, but remember scent means little prior to the brew. There is no vegetal flavor but a sweet reckoning of citrus. There is no aftertaste or bitterness. It’s very sweet and could easily replace a soda or energy drink.

Aftertaste: none
Bitterness: none

Notes:
Sweet
Citrus / Lemon

MIKAN

Cost: $24.99

Price may vary according to the amount purchased.

Interesting Highlights:
I don’t want to mislead this is not like a lemonade flavored tea, it’s much more amazing then that.

Ingredients:
Pai Mu Tan
Lemon Myrtle
White Tea

Review:
Citrus sweet and lovely flavored more like tangerine or orange and possible a bit of pineapple flavor as well. It’s smooth and again like the prior could easily replace any drink that seems to be popular now. Soda, gone, energy drink gone and those sports drinks gone and move on to a better, headliner version that includes amazing green tea, not instant, but powdered.

Aftertaste: none
Bitterness: none

Notes:
earthy
Citrus
Orange
